There are several solutions for replacing an entire mouth of teeth and which are:

Full Dentures
Full dentures have a gum-colored acrylic base that supports natural-looking denture teeth. An upper denture covers the upper palate, while a lower denture is fabricated in a horseshoe shape, relying solely on the bony ridge that originally supported your teeth for retention.
Full dentures were developed hundreds of years ago, and while modern dentures are quite different from earlier versions, they still rest directly on the gums, which can cause significant problems as bone resorption occurs.
As the boney ridge changes shape, dentures become increasingly ill-fitting and can rub uncomfortably. The pressure can increase the rate of bone resorption. Loss of bone can change overall facial dimensions, affecting facial appearance. When dentures move around, mealtimes become problematic, and some people will avoid social occasions involving food and can become increasingly isolated. Dental implants address these problems, providing edentulous people with teeth that are stable and strong.
Full mouth implants are a conservative method of replacing an entire arch of teeth providing predictable treatment outcomes. Usually, six or eight dental implants support a full arch bridge of 10 or 12 teeth. The implants are inserted surgically into the jawbone before they are covered and left to heal for several months.
During the healing process, called osseointegration, the implants mustn’t be disturbed as they can’t be placed under any pressure that could affect their ability to bond with the bone around them.
After approximately three months, the implants are fully integrated with the jawbone and are fitted with a permanent implant supported bridge. While the implants heal, there is no need to worry you will be left without teeth as we will provide a temporary restoration. If you currently wear a full denture, we might suggest adapting this to accommodate the dental implants during healing. Otherwise, we can provide a new temporary prosthesis. While treatment does require several months to complete, the results are excellent, and this is a tried and tested method of placing dental implants.
Mini dental implants are much narrower than conventional dental implants and are often used to stabilize loose dentures. They rely on the length of the implant post for strength, and using a narrower screw can avoid the need for bone grafts that can be necessary during traditional implant treatment. Because the implants are narrower, it’s easier to identify enough healthy bone to hold the implants securely.
The implants are inserted directly through the gums, avoiding the need for any incision, so healing is faster.
The smaller design of mini dental implants is reflected in the cost so that treatment can be more affordable. Once the mini dental implants are inserted into the jawbone, a denture is specially designed to clip onto them, holding the denture securely in place. It’s a good and cost-effective solution for loose and ill-fitting dentures.
However, mini dental implants are less suitable for restoring upper arches because there may be an insufficient amount of vertical bone to support them. Also, because quite a few mini implants are required, sometimes traditional treatment may be equally cost-effective.
Teeth in a Day
Teeth in a day are ideal for anyone who’s teeth are failing and who would like them replaced as quickly as possible. With this dental implants treatment, we remove teeth and place the new implants, and a set of temporary teeth are attached to the implants on the same day.
As with all implant treatment, the implants must be left to heal and integrate (osseointegration) with the bone around them for several months. The temporary prosthesis is designed to make sure the implants cannot move by splinting them together.
During healing, you may need to adapt your diet, eating softer food that places less pressure on your teeth.
Teeth in a day is a technique that requires meticulous planning in advance of surgery using 3-D technology and specialized computer software. It is a procedure that can provide outstanding results, removing infected, painful, or loose teeth and replacing them with teeth that feel stable and strong in one single treatment.
As the name suggests, this implant treatment uses just four dental implants to secure a lower arch of teeth, while usually, an upper arch requires six dental implants to hold the teeth firmly in place.
The treatment was developed several decades ago and is tried and tested, and it’s successful because of the way the implants are inserted into the jawbone.
Usually, dental implants are inserted at regular intervals throughout the arch, ensuring teeth are properly supported. However, with All-on-Four, all the implants are inserted toward the front of the jawbone because the bone here is naturally stronger and thicker. It’s a technique that virtually eliminates the need for bone grafts.
Two dental implants are inserted vertically right at the front of the jawbone, while the other two are inserted either side but are tilted backward at a 45° angle. Because the implants are angled, we can use longer implant posts and which increases the contact with the surrounding bone, providing greater stability and strength.
A new temporary prosthesis is attached soon after treatment and splints the implants together, preventing movement while the implants heal and bond with the jawbone. Once the implants are fused firmly in place, we replace the temporary prosthesis with the permanent bridge of teeth.
Nowadays, people missing a full mouth of teeth have far more options than removable dentures. Often, dental implants are a suitable and more permanent solution, restoring teeth and self-esteem and self-confidence. Also, having teeth that are strong and stable makes it easy to eat properly, and good nutrition is essential for overall health.
